Grey Likes Baby

Our sweet photography friend, Amelia Lyon, sent over this maternity session that she did for her beautiful sister-in-law. In fact, we featured her FIRST maternity session here, where they went out on the docks and in the water! To keep things fun, this time Jill decided that a grocery store maternity session would be different AND totally appropriate for a mom of two! We absolutely love the idea! What fun!

Archetype Studios sent us this styled picnic family photo shoot.  She says about the shoot:

“Natalie envisioned a perfect spring day in a rustic, interactive setting that would allow Koby and I to photograph the relationships within her sweet family. She wanted something beyond the ordinary family shoot, but nothing too overstyled. Natalie thoughtfully put together her family’s wardrobe for the shoot and we scheduled a time to meet at one of Houston’s local prop houses to put together the details. We chose a setting that had a rustic feel and lots of room to roam… and fly a kite. A picnic seemed to make perfect sense – complete with cookies and Crush {that also happened to fit the color scheme}. The actual day of the shoot was almost perfect weather and the boys had a great time roaming the grounds of the old stockyard. I hope you enjoy the collection we created for the Emerson family.”

I agree, it looks like a pretty perfect day.

Rentals: Recollection Vintage Rentals

Aaron with FotoNuova sent us this Roma inspired maternity session. The styling didn’t slap me in the face with ROMA THEME, which I appreciated, rather it was very subtle and classic. The session was taken at Leo Carrillo State Park in Malibu CA. I’m really loving it, the photography is quite superb!!! Ciao ;)
