Here are some wonderful canvas prints for a little art update in baby’s nursery!

Love the Color Palette for this baby shower, and the backdrop knocks this shower right out of the park, then to top it all off with lavender soap favors…it’s all so dazzling!

Here’s a bit from the woman who made it all happen:

“I started with a soft shades of mint and peach, and paired them with a deep eggplant, emerald green and true gold to help balance out the “baby” feel with a few sophisticated notes of color. A fine linen paper was chosen for the invitation, gift tags for the handmade lavender soap guests took with them, multi layered tags for each plate of food to identify the indgrediants, and other printed pieces used throughout the event. I created a modern backdrop using smile 2″ squares stitched together. This backdrop hung behind the food table and framed a set of gorgeous handmade wooden vases.” -Susan

I love the simplicity and yet fantastic design elements found in the mid-century look. This shower is a beautiful portrayal of a modern design from the shapes of the backdrop to the balloon color, to the beautiful desserts, down to the design of the cabinet. The shapes on the wall are fantastic inspiration, it would be classic and easy to throw together, but take a basic dessert table and make it a real knock out .
