Dec03 Mac & Mia 2015
Mac & Mia is a fabulous service that I have recently discovered. Their experience allows parents nationwide to skip the shopping trip and easily outfit their newborn to six year olds in boutique-worthy threads. Let’s just all take a moment and think about the energy and magnitude of effort and organization involved in a minor shopping trip. With the help of our sponsors Mac & Mia you can cut out all the drama and have personally selected items to match your child’s particular style profile, helping create some of the most coveted kiddie closets around.
How it Works
- Get Personal. Sign up online and create a style profile for your little one. A Mac & Mia stylist will collect all of your information including what you like and don’t like, how you live your life and what types of clothing items you desire. Items range from casual to special occasion for newborns to six year olds.
- Get Excited. Based on the information provided to your stylist, Mac & Mia will deliver a box – free of charge – of hand-picked clothing, shoes and accessories that meet your needs and style. The number of items varies from box-to-box based on what you’ve requested.
- Finders, Keepers. Once you receive your box, you have five days to make your choices. You’re only charged for the items you love and keep. Everything else can be shipped back, free of charge, with a prepaid return envelope provided by Mac & Mia.
Mac & Mia sources unique articles of clothing from brands you won’t find in mainstream retailers. Every box is unique and tells the story of the artisans and independent brands that have crafted the clothes within. Mac & Mia carefully considers social and environmental standards when choosing its brand partners.
Mac & Mia stylists are a unique community of women with an entrepreneurial spirit a refined sense of style, and a desire to express themselves on their own terms. They bring a personalized experience to each customer and provide advice on everything from everyday styling to how to match outfits for holiday photos.
For Grey Likes Baby Readers you can receive $25 off your first box if you sign up and request a box by 12/10. Use Stylist code: MACGREY25

Nov20 Safari Nursery 2015
Mandy designed, photographed and made a lot of the details in this fabulous nursery. How much talent can exist in one person? It’s loosely safari themed with lots of neutrals and splashes of green. I love!
Nov19 6 Month Grey 2015
Baby Grey is six months old so the family did some photos in their beautiful home. I love all the geometric shapes and navy and grey tones with a hint of astronomy in his nursery. Their family is adorable together and these photos capture them so well!

Nov18 Tiny Love Cozy Rocker Napper 2015
Our sponsors Tiny Love sent us another gem. The Cozy Rocker Napper a.k.a. does a billion things all at once even though it’s one piece! Not that I don’t love a living room cluttered with gadgets, each of them for a different purpose, but I can appreciate the condensed device ever so much (ahem, I love it).
So here’s what it does, grab a pen the list is long: when Ellington is having one of those fabulous days where she just. won’t. sleep. the cozy rocker napper turned out to be really helpful because it’s helpful at any phase of her energy level. Starting with an upright position, soothing through rocking, then moving into a napping bed it covers all the phases so I don’t ever have to move her. I put her in the rocker sitting up, entertain her with the mobile and music while sneakily rocking her until she falls asleep, then I go for the clip in the back and squeeze and ever so slowly move her into a laying position, cover her with the canopy, and she is sleeping, SHE IS SLEEPING. The mobile has mirrors on it, which seem to be wildly entertaining, but they don’t move that much so she isn’t stimulated, add the calming music and it’s all very mesmerizing. The rocking bars have stabilizing stands that can keep the napper from rocking if you are using it more like a chair and less like a bed. Sneaky mom success and a happy sleeping baby for the win.
