Apr30 Santiago’s Nursery 2015
Christie is an interior designer in Florida and thus has created a fabulous nursery for their new baby. Because of their small space they had to be creative to make the room comfortable, beautiful, easy to grow into and double as an office. It’s a tall order but they did it perfectly.
“Making room for baby was a bit of a challenge in our 1,000 sq. ft apartment. We not only wanted to welcome our new baby with a cozy nursery, but we also had to incorporate a fully functional working home office for my husband. We wanted to create a space with a clean modern vibe with a little edge that Santiago could grow into. We decided to go with a custom bold graphic pattern as a feature wall in shades of gold, grey, and white. It was very important to us that the pieces we selected would not only work aesthetically in the space, but would also change to accommodate Santiago’s future needs. For example, the Stokke Crib transforms from a crib to a toddler bed and the glider fully reclines with a foot rest ideal for nursing.” – Christie

Mar25 Family in Georgia 2015
Love this little newborn session taken in Atlanta, GA. Mom didn’t want it to necessarily have a theme, but to be a place where they were comfortable doing life in…I like that. She tied in some old items from her own childhood, as well as some new favorite items and art pieces.
