Grey Likes Baby

I’m loving this Fringe banner that I found over at Armommy. She gives you all the wonderful details for how to do this yourself and I think I might make one just for fun! I hope you’re loving this beautifully spring day. Enjoy!

Baby girl got to celebrate her first year of life in style, and in a teepee! The haystacks and the fringe fabric banner add  a lot to their  Indian Princess scene. I have a special place in my heart for maxi dresses because they’re so comfortable and cute (let’s all  give a round of applause for comfortable fashion), add to that the feather in mom’s hair and she’s like a decoration piece for this party! Finally, the cake…my mind is blown!

This gender reveal party is just so darn precious. The bows and mustaches in the pink and blue colored drinks is darling, and the tally board is an awesome way to keep track, because it must be a competition.  And then their reaction, I want to frame the photos and I’m not even friends with them…(don’t worry I won’t).

I love this shower because it’s really different from what we’re seeing right now.  It’s very handmade which is perfect for a little woodland themed baby shower, and it’s such a fun contrast with the modern patio it’s in. Plus, I’m pretty positive that I could eat that entire table of pretty little sweets.

One year ago, we posted photos of this little dude on his first birthday.

Now that he is two, his mother Nashara Wisenbaker sent us a little update that is just as cute as the last. Nashara isn’t a photographer, she is just a creative mom that is doing a spectacular job documenting her son.  She even gave us all the details on how she makes his yearly photographs such perfection.  I like that there is simplicity in the photos, and a bit of theme shared between his first year and the second year.  She picked the same spot in her house, a fun modern chair, striped pajamas, light blue props, some yummy dessert, an adorable little boy, and we have some really precious photos.
