Feb15 Bunkbeds 2013
Bunk-beds have come a long ways in the last ten years. They used to terribly small, hideously ugly, and were only used to save space. Now they are the centerpieces of cozy rooms and happy beds that I would be more than happy to move into. It’s seems we have taken what used to be simply a space saver, and made them into beautifully designed, perfectly charming beds.

When sifting through the internet looking for your favorite nursery items that you’re dying to register for, you might discover that most of the best finds can’t be found at the big corporate stores you would register at. Well…problem solved. Take a seat on your couch with a tub of ice cream, pop in Father of the Bride 2 and let your fingers do all the baby registry shopping with our Sponsor, Baby List. Explore all of your favorite items from Target and Baby’s R Us, plus Etsy, unique eco friendly cribs, quirky boutique clothing, beautiful wallpaper, and keep it all in one place for your guests to have easy access to. Nov19 Drab to Fab Nursery: Wallpaper 2012
I am loving that there are some really fun wallpaper patterns available now, which can absolutely take an average room and make it fabulous. Here is some inspiration for a gold room, and due to my addiction I”m sure I’ll be showing you some more in the near future.
Unfortunatley the polka dot and bedroom photos are from Stella and Henry whose website is no longer available. We would love to know if anyone has any ideas of where to find lovely wallpapers like these ones.
The star wallpaper can be found at houzz.
Nov13 Drab to Fab: Rugs 2012
If you’re looking to add a little life and spunk into your nursery or kids bedroom, a simple way that involves no crafting or painting is to purchase a rug. Rugs are good for bringing the design elements of a room together, adding simple comfort, or creating a focal point for an otherwise neutral room. Here are some of my favorite rugs, paired with similar rugs that are currently available, and easy on the purse.
