Aug23 Best Birth Announcements 2012
Birth announcement can be so much fun and they have so many different ranges and styles. Of course we love the simplicity of a beautiful newborn photo with some simple design, but we also love to look at some of the overly creative announcements new parents have come up. Either way I love to see a sealed enveloped in my mail that isn’t a bill or junk mail, my excitement is uncanny. I found my favorites and I’m sure there are plenty more.
I’m sure you’ve seen this one floating around Pinterest but it’s on of my absolute favorites. It’s so creative, and the photos are beautiful thanks to one of our fave photographers Brooke Schwab. Plus Eleanor Quinn Wells…are we in England in the 20′s? I ADORE that name.

These ones are SOOO much fun! Apparently the mother and father are both designers which I’m sure means they are oozing with creativity in their home and just whipped up a quick design for these perfectly quirky announcements. Stella’s announcement is obviously 70′s and Nina’s is 60′s. So dang cute I want to frame them. You can see more from their blog here.

Another one of our favorite photographers Jill Thomas sent this announcement out when her daughter Penny was born. It’s about as creative as they come and I can’t get over how they managed to stage this photo so perfectly. I spy…it’s so clever, and also a good brain exercise, FYI :)

This one is really fun, simple, and could easily be an Instagram announcement for those parents who are digital junkies or snail mail haters. I found the photo here and they even give a tutorial on how to do it on your own.

Here we have a ‘top secret’ announcement that had to take some serious planning and designing to bring it all together, but by golly did they accomplish success. Katherine Marie did this for her daughter Frankie…so fun!

The uber famous designer Ty Mattson created these announcements when his son was born. I love that you can see the process from his scetch to the full design. Unfortunately most of us couldn’t think of such a detailed design much less bring it to fruition, but I bet we’re all glad we get to find a bit of inspiration from his mounting talent.
