When I was little, my mom always did a fabulous job of making our birthdays special.

She also always made sure we ate our birthday dinner from the “You are special today” plate. I most definitely plan on doing the same for my kids, but I happened upon this Happy Birthday cake plate and felt it has the same effect. I love it!

    I bought Rosanna plates that have the words to happy birthday on them. We all get to eat our birthday dessert on it. My boys love that it’s special….We also wake up to decorations on our birthday….a tradition my mom passed down to us.
