Grey Likes Baby

This first birthday party is PERFECT for today. Photographer Leah Payne of Grey Twig Photography sent us these photos of her son Ike’s party. Because of his name they went with an “I Like Ike” theme, just like Dwight D. Eisenhower’s campaign. They used a lot of original campaign material design, such as the “I Like Ike” pins from 1952. Leah made the invitations to look like an old campaign poster, complete with a caricature of Ike made on Fiverr, plus she made the tablecloth with cut up newspaper.

With that wildly patriotic inspiration, cheers to a wonderful presidents day.
