Jun25 A Modern Baby Party (not shower) 2014

Here’s a party thrown for Viv Jordan of the Eclectic Press to celebrate the expectation of baby girl Zoe.  It’s so geometric and funky, the guests were celebrating in modern perfection. Here’s Viv:
“I asked my friends organizing the shower if they’d be okay hosting a baby party instead of a traditional baby shower because I wanted my husband to participate in the festivities and they kindly said yes! The shower venue was held at a dear friend’s impeccable midcentury modern home on a steamy 106 degree Texas summer day. Heat aside, Jon and I felt so loved that day by how thoughtfully the details were executed from our favorite foods ( think green tea cake with jasmine buttercream = game changer) to the gorgeous flower arrangements to the coordination (90 people RSVPed, yikes!). The geometric backdrop for the drink station was a personal favorite!  The hostesses did a great job creating a beautiful shower while still keeping it gender neutral since we wanted to be surprised by the gender of our babe until birth. Despite the summer swelter, we all had a great time and in no time at all, we welcomed our amazing baby girl Zoë Ly Jordan into the world!”
