Apr17 Coral & Navy 2012

This shower was quite the joint effort, and it turned out so beautiful and timeless. It was modeled after the theme and look of baby Elena’s nursery.

A Note from Mom-to-be Brienne Shepard:
My daughter, due in May, will be named Elena Phoenix Shepard. Because of the middle name Phoenix, I decided to go with a bird themed nursery (birds and owls actually). I also chose coral, navy, grey, and white for her colors. My mom, sister, mother-in-law and several of my friends that I’ve met/worked with as vendors in the wedding/event world came together to create an amazing shower using her nursery colors and theme as their foundation. I knew I’d want to take pictures for her baby book but I have to say I was just blown away by how beautiful they made things! Emilee of Tasteful Tatters even did a tutorial for all the ladies present on how to custom make little onesies for my baby girl as one of the games. And a lot of the goodies were gluten free too.
